Cheating

A topic on cheating. I had this conversation with a few of my colleagues recently & found out that everyone views on cheating is so different. Felt that its so interesting.  So i'm here to share.

(1) It started out with my friend K asking "Do you think having good feelings towards an opposite sex (not your gf/ bf of course) is consider cheating?". Even if you didn't do anything, its just mentally. Yes/No?

Haha what a tough question right? & he continued saying that he believes that everyone will have this moment where they meet new people & find someone attractive, not meaning physically only but also the way they present themselves & all. & after some time of communicating it is inevitable that you will think "if i am with this person will it be better than my current relationship?"

I voted this as cheating. I personally feel that if you have 2nd thoughts on your r/s, thats already part of cheating. But 2 of my colleagues actually felt that its not cheating as long as he/she didn't take any actions to woo that person. Hmmm...

(2) Because the 1st topic was all about "mentally". We brought up this topic. Is watching porn consider cheating? Hahaha. Its like a physical attraction to someone else right? All, except for 1, voted it as a no.& that 1 person questioned that why isn't it consider cheating? So having 1 night stand with someone else is cheating but watching porn is not? Doesn't it work the same way? Hahaha. Its kind of confusing isn't it? But i personally feel that watching porn is just like watching a movie & thinking the actor/actresses is super hot & go crazy over them. You don't get to touch them. (Okay my logic is a bit weird, i know) But having 1 night stand is different. & anyway we all feel that having one night stand with someone else when you are attached is considered cheating. But i'm sure there are people who don't feel so?

(3) Then we went a little off topic. One of them asked "is constantly sending someone who likes or are interested in you flirty texts consider cheating?" I've actually seen many people who are like that. & i always don't understand why they have to send flirty text to that person if they actually knows that he/she likes them. Maybe they just wanna show their partners that they are still popular among the opposite sex? I don't know man. I personally feel that its wrong but maybe cheating isn't the word for it.

Ok, i'm a little tired to type on so i shall jump to the end. We concluded that there is no definite answer for this. & this is definitely not a good topic to discuss with your partner hahahaha. But if you are bored with a group of people maybe its a good question to ask.
