Insecurities

He: I have been trying my best to make you feel secure. But nothing seems to be good enough. Why don't you tell me what to do.

She: I don't know...

A friend told me this:

I guess its the same theory as "you cannot love someone when you can't even love yourself". If you are insecure with yourself, no matter how many compliments you get, nothing will get into that thick skull.
You have to truly believe that you are worth it, you are good enough.
